Euro tilted higher in Asian trade against the greenback, as European Central Bank President Mario Draghi spoke at the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority event, in Paris earlier today, and ahead of US housing data.
As of 04:50 GMT, EUR/USD rose 0.12% to 1.1697, with an intraday high at 1.1703, and a low at 1.1667.
Awaited US data today include an index tracking the housing sector, expected to increase to 66 from 67 in August, in addition to housing starts and building permits data.
