Asian stocks rise in tandem with world stocks

Asian shares indices rose alongside world stocks, supported by Wall Street’s tech and Europe's mining gains.

 

Dollar gained as Yen dropped, which underpinned Asian stocks, as markets shift liquidity to stocks, while waiting for the Jackson Hole Symposium later this week.

 

Japanese shares increased, as TOPIX gained 0.46% or 5.61 points to 1,233.44, while Nikkei 225 advanced 0.46% or 88.74 points to 19,473.58.

 

Chinese CSI 300 fell 0.04% or 1.42 points to 3,750.88, while Shanghai decreased 0.16% or 5.27 points to 3,284.96.

 

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng advanced 0.91% or 246.99 points to 27,401.67, while South Korea’s KOSPI rose 0.01% or 0.28 points to 2,365.61.

 

New Zealand’s NZX 50 gained 0.27%, or 21.62 points to 7,888.70, and finally Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 tumbled 0.45% or 25.92 points to 5,724.20.
